The integration of smart technologies, sustainable practices, and inclusive design principles has set a benchmark for future urban infrastructure developments in the country. The project has not only improved day-to-day urban living but also reinforced resilience against environmental challenges and urban stressors.
USGIP

Urban Solar Grid Integration Project
The Urban Solar Grid Integration Project (USGIP) was launched in 2022 to bolster the renewable energy footprint in major metropolitan cities by establishing high-efficiency solar power plants integrated into city grids. The initiative focused on utilizing underused urban and peri-urban spaces such as rooftops, industrial parks, and city outskirts. This project contributes directly to India’s National Solar Mission and UN SDG Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).
